Chippa United welcomed National Team Head Coach, Stuart Baxter on Monday at Club’s premises at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The Briton has been traveling around the country to meet with various Clubs to create “a partnership between SAFA and the Clubs,”
He was in the stands as Chippa United drew 1-all with Ajax Cape Town on Sunday, before having a dinner with Head Coach, Vladeslav Heric and meeting the rest of the Technical Team the following day for two and half hour meeting.
Following the meeting, Assistant Coach, Roscoe Kreiling said; “I found the meeting very informative and positive with regards to Coach Stuart Baxter’s plan of getting closer to PSL clubs.
“It was great for all of us in the Technical Team to share our views about football as well as listen and gain knowledge around his vision for the national team,”
Performance Analyst, Sinesipho Mali was also elated with the opportunity to have a ‘sit down’ with the Bafana Bafana mentor who won two titles with Kaizer Chiefs; “It was an insightful meeting. He shared his vision for the national team and how we can assist (as Clubs) to enhance the process.
Baxter told chippautdfc.co.za that the main objective of the meetings was to creat sound partnership between the national football association and football Club and the feedback he has been getting from the Clubs is “positive”.
