“We set clear objectives before the start of the season, and in line with our theme we aim foe continuous improvement. We have not been doing well in the past couple weeks, but we still believe that we can make this a season to remember. It is encouraging to see the support we have been receiving from the supporters,” continued Bergman.

Nicknamed ‘Katongo’, the rightback was given his first start of the season during the Telkom Knockout against Highlands Park; “It was disappointing to lose the game but I thought I gave a solid performance. I continue to work hard in training and am getting a lot of support from the Technical Team and my teammates.
Bergman added that he has been impressed by the organisation at the Club since coming back; “Things are lot more organised here which is a sign of growth itself. I also look at the Technical Team we have from a coaching and medical perspective, a lot has changed around here for the better.”
