Justice ‘Sorry’ Chabalala has told chippautdfc.co.za that he is bringing a winning mentality, and believes that the Club has what it takes to not only move up the log table, but fight to win a trophy this season.

Chabalala (26) affectionately known in football circles as “Hosi Ya Mina” impressed during the first half of the current season winning three Man-of-the Match awards.  His move to Chippa United has caught many by surprise, but the player is not phased.

“I am delighted to be here. It has only been few days but the welcoming from each and every one at the football club has been heart-warming,” said the former Free State Stars and Orlando Pirates centre back.

“Chippa United has already shown this season that it is a Club that can challenge for every trophy on offer. I am a player with a winning mentality and I have seen that we share the same mentality. I have no doubt that working together, we are going to move up the log table and challenge for the two trophies on offer.

Chabalala said he is looking forward to donning the blue and white; “I watched the Club a lot, and I love the style of play here. It has been exciting to be part of the sessions where there has been lot of emphasis on ball retention. The competition for places is going to be tough but I am ready to fight for my place and grab the opportunity given by the football club.
