Justice Chabalala has told chippautd.co.za that he is pleased to finally make his debut for Chippa United, and is now looking forward to cement his place in the starting line up.
The Polokwane-born soft spoken defender watched on the bench as Chippa United beat Baroka FC.
With Bongani Kama out due to an ankle injury, Chabalala alongside Kris Bergman were preferred as centre backs against Sundowns at Sisa Dukashe.
“It was good to be out there with the team, and I was delighted to play my first game for the Club,” said Chabalala.
“I know that I can play better, and we as a collective must build on Tuesday ‘s performance.
Chippa United travel to Bloemfontein on Sunday, 19 February for a date with Bloemfontein Celtic.
“We are going to Bloemfontein without any fear. We are aware of the threat they pose in front of their fans, but the important thing for us is to focus on our game.
“The spirit here is amazing and that is a foundation for success. We work for each other,” added the former Free State Stars and Orlando Pirates defender.
