Chippa United have drawn Jomo Cosmos at home for  the NEDBANK Cup quarter finals, on a date and venue still to be confirmed by the Premier Soccer League.

The Chilli Boys qualified for the draw which took place in Johannesburg on Monday evening after dispatching Polokwane City at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Assistant coach Mbuyiselo ‘Viera’ Sambu was pleased with the draw; “We are very excited to reach this stage of the Nedbank Cup. It is good for the Club and the brand.

“We were expecting to draw any side . The coach was very calm following the win on Saturday.

“Cosmos will not be easy, but we will be ready to welcome them, he said.

Speaking to chippautdfc.co.za  after the draw, Sambu emphasized that the focus on the next fixture ahead of  the quarter finals of the Nedbank Cup.

Chippa will welcome Polokwane City on Tuesday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday evening for an ABSA Premiership encounter.

Kick-off for the game is at 19h30.
