Nelson Mandela Metro is expecting to be buzzing this weekend when the Chilli Boys welcome Polokwane City to the City for back-to-back fixtures; Nedbank Cup on Saturday, 08 April and Absa Premiership on Tuesday, 11 April 2017.

The two games will both be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, with the Saturday kick-off  at 15h00 and Tuesday kick-off is at 19h30.

The Chilli Boys are hoping to use the two games to return back to winning ways, following a defeat in Cape Town earlier in the week.

Chippa United would like to call all the supporters in the Metro and beyond its borders to come in numbers and rally behind the team as we look to make history, progressing to the next stage of this competition for the first time since the Club was formed back in 2010.

The support from the fans remains an integral part of the team’s success and it rubs off with the players on the pitch. History has shown that when we are united in song on the stands, it pushes everyone in the team towards the right direction, and we certainly call for that in the next two games and games to follow till the end of the season. Let the encouraging voices be louder and let the songs be louder on the stands.

Management has thrown its weight behind Technical Team and the players and are still confident that the Club can still achieve its goals as set during the start of the season. In line with our theme for the season, #SeasonOfGrowth the Club continues to grow and it is encouraging to see the effort being put supporters on the ground to make this Club a force to be reckoned with in the future.

Tickets for both games are on sale at Ticket Pro outlets nationwide at R40 per adult and R15 for children under the age of 12.
