The Chilli Boys braved the cold on Monday in the province of KwaZulu-Natal as they stepped up their preparations for the upcoming season.

The weather in KwaZulu-Natal and other parts of the country has not been kind, with the snow falling in the nearby mountains, but that has not deterred Coach Dan Malesela from taking the players through their paces.

The players in return have shown a high level of professionalism as they prepare for what promises to be their most competitive season in the Premier Soccer League.

There are 31 players on camp including new signees, Bongani  “Drogba” Ndulula, Xolani “Slaughter” Mdaki, Zama Dlamini and many others.

The squad also welcomed newest signee, Marc Van Heerden in camp.

The side will play a series of friendly matches in KwaZulu/Natal before heading to Johannesburg mid of next week for a week camp.

Chippa United will meet Golden Arrows in a closed practice match at Moses Mabhida on Thursday.
