Two goals from the Club’s long serving players, Buyani ‘Ace’ Sali and Andile ‘Raul’ Mbenyane, were enough to send the home side to the next round against tricky Polokwane City.

Wounded from the last defeat, the visitors were wounded will return to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday, and Malesela is aware that it will not be an easy game.

“It is important to apply ourselves because at this stage every game is important,” said Malesela.

“We played a good game on Saturday. We kept a clean sheet, but there were frailties here and there that we need to address come Tuesday.

“It is a game where had they scored first, the outcome could have been different.

“We must focus. Tuesday it is a different game, different competition.
