Head Coach, Dan Malesela was able to pick up positives despite a 2-0 loss away in Bloemfontein against Celtic on Sunday, 19 February 2017.

The Port Elizabeth-based side lost the services of key player Rhulani Manzini who was sent off in the first half following an off the ball incident.

“The loss of Rhulani (Manzini) had an impact on the outcome,” said Malesela addressing the media after the game.

“We showed a lot of character today despite playing with 10 men for most of the game,” he said.

“I have no doubt that we will bounce back even stronger from this loss.

“We have a recovery session on Monday morning back in PE and then we start preparations for the next game,” added Malesela.

Chippa United will host Golden Arrows at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane on Friday, 24 February 2017.

Kick off is at 20h00.

Tickets for the game are already on sale at Ticket Pro outlets nationwide selling for R40 per adult and R20 for children under the age of 12.
