CHIPPA United will be without the services of Buyani Sali for the rest of the season.

The news was confirmed after the player met with the Club doctor on Tuesday afternoon.

The industrious midfielder was substituted during the Absa Premiership fixture away to Kaizer Chiefs following a tackle from Lorenzo Gordinho.

Team Physio Mark Anderson told chippautdfc.co.za on Wednesday morning, “(Buyani)Sali sustained an un-displaced tibial fracture during Saturday’s match. There seemed to be contact on the inside of his right tibia  resulting in the fracture.

“He will be in a cast for 6 weeks, and will be sidelined for the rest of the season,” he added.

Chippa United in its totality would like to wish Buyani Sali a speedy recovery.
