Chippa United will be looking to bounce back at the expense of Cape Town City when the two sides meet at Athlone Stadium on Friday, 2 March 2018.
The Chilli Boys are coming back from a bruising 4-2 loss against Orlando Pirates this past weekend and are now outside the top 8 bracket.
Moloi told chippautdfc.co.za that his charges are capable of bouncing back and complete a double against Cape Town City.
The Chilli Boys beat Cape Town City in the first round thanks to goals from Abel ‘Magic’ Mabaso and Katlego ‘Mahoota’ Mashego.
“The preparations have gone well and the players are ready. They now know exactly what is expected of them. The objective is to win the game. We are one point outside the top 8 and we will be going all out to win. It is important to return back to the top bracket, but first we must think about the next game,” said Moloi.
He added that the players have responded well at training following the defeat against Orlando Pirates on Sunday; “The mood is very positive after the loss. The guys are working very hard in training digging in from their reserves. It is pleasing to see and we are going to Cape Town with a positive attitude,”
Kick-off for the game is at 20h00.
