Chippa United has been boosted by the return to training of trio, Menzi “Slyza Tsotsi” Masuku, Siyabonga “Baby Face” Ngubane and Rhulani “Iron Ball” Manzini ahead of the trip to Tembisa for a crucial clash against Highlands Park.
The trio missed a few games due to various injuries, and their return to training will give the Technical Team options ahead of Friday’s match against Highlands Park. Masuku missed the last four games due to rib injury, while Rhulani Manzini and Siya Ngubane have been out due to hamstring and hip injury respectively.
Utility player, Xolani “Slaughter” Mdaki suffered a knee injury in the away defeat to Cape Town City, but now has fully recovered and should be available for selection.
Defender, Pentjie Zulu who left the field inside 7 (six) minutes against Orlando Pirates towards the end of last month due to tear on his left hamstring is expected to return to training next week.
Katlego “Mahoota” Mashego had his second scan showing good healing on both his quad tears. He is receiving treatment and has started rehab.
