Caretaker Coach, Mbuyiselo Sambu believes the return of the likes of Justice Chabalala, Rhulani Manzini and Menzi Masuku has boosted the side ahead of the trip to Tembisa on Friday evening.

Chippa United takes on Highlands Park in pwhat romises to be a thrilling encounter in the fight for survival.

The Port Elizabeth based side is one point above relegation while Highlights Park is currently no. 16 on the Absa Premiership table.

Sambu speaking to chippautdfc.co.za lauded tge the attitude of his players ahead of the crucial encounter.

“Preparations have gone well, and the attitude in training has been positive. It’s encouraging to see the will to fight from the players and that gives us confidence going into this game,” he said.

“The return of the likes of Justice (Chabalala) from suspension and Rhulani (Manzini) has fueled positive energy in the group, which is important to all your soldiers in times like these. We are ready.

Chippa United beat Highlands Park back in December in the first round, but Sambu is expecting a fight from the Tembisa based side on Friday.

“They are playing at home, so they  won’t give it away without a fight. It is a team with a lot of experience, and they are more direct.

“We must not make it easy for them.  We must show our intentions from the first minute, and keep our concentration,” he concluded.

Kick-off for the game is at 20h00.
