Head Coach, Dan Malesela was left shaking his head following a 1-0 defeat to Polokwane City on Wednesday evening.

The ChilliBoys were hoping to keep the momentum following a victory against Kaizer Chiefs at Nelson Mandela Bay at the beginning of the month.

The hosts though had other ideas as Maluleke’s 83rd minute stunner gave the City the win.

“It’s a kind of a game where I felt we deserved something but again in football sometimes it is not the case,” said Malesela after the game.

Chippa United conceded a goal in the 89th minute last season and Malesela revealed that he warned his players at halftime.

“I told the players it is going to be a game of small margins, a draw or just one goal to win it,” continued Malesela.

The Port Elizabeth side will have no time to lick their wounds though as they welcome Highlands Park at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane on Saturday, 17 December 2016.

“We must come up with solutions before our game on Saturday. We are playing at home and we must do all possible to come with the result,” added Malesela.
