The Welkom-born striker’s last start for Chippa United was against Mamelodi Sundowns on 25th November 2017 before he injured his shoulder at training.

On Tuesday he worked with the Club’s Conditioning Coach, Madoda Moyo; “I am ready to join my team mates now. I have been working hard on rehabilitation for the past month. I would like to thank Club’s Medical Team and everyone for support in the past couple of months.

“I should be fit to take the field against SuperSport United. I am aware of the competition for places in the team and I am willing to put in the work and take it from there,” said Manzini.

The return of Lerato Manzini will be welcomed by Vadeslav Heric with strikers, Mxolisi ‘Thuma Mina” Macupu, Jabulani “Hlokoloza” Manqele hitting form and veteran striker, Katlego “Mahoota” Mashego waiting on the wings.
