Chippa United will back to work on Monday, 09 January 2017, Head Coach Dan Malesela has confirmed.
The Eastern Cape based side is currently sitting on 11th position on the Absa Premiership log table, and will be looking to do much better during the second round of the season.
The Chilli Boys as the side is affectionately known, started the season with a bang, but injuries to key players like Rhulani Manzini, Marc Van Heerden, Thamsanqa Sangweni, Diamond Thopola and others disrupted the team’s momentum.
Chippa United welcome Baroka FC on Wednesday, February the 8th when the league resumes after the Africa Cup of Nations.
Rhulani Manzini, Andile Mbenyane and Diamond Thopola who all missed last game against Ajax Cape Town are all expected to be back in full fitness ahead of what promises to be a grueling second half of the season.
The Club’s offices open officially on Thursday, 05 January 2017.
