Head Coach, Dan Malesela has backed Rhulani ‘Rhu’ Manzini to bounce back even stronger from the knock he suffered against Bidvest Wits.
The Bushbuckridge-born striker is out of the Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter on Wednesday as a precaution, following a knock on his head during the Absa Premiership last week.
He will be monitored ahead of the match away to Cape Town City on April, 1.
Manzini known to his teammates as “Rhu” has already spent time on the sidelines this season, and announced his come back this year with a stoppage time stunner against Baroka FC last month.
“He should not look at these injuries as a setback or some kind of bad luck,” said Malesela himself back at training on Monday after being given a few days to recover at home.
“Rhulani is a spiritual person and a Christian. I have no doubt that he will bounce back from the latest setback.
Dance went on to draw comparisons between Rhulani and his fellow striker, Lerato Manzini.
“Rhulani is a grafter. He works hard and keeps defenders busy. Lerato is your typical goal poacher,” added Malesela.
