THREE POINTS ON OFFER AGAINST ORLANDO PIRATES

Chippa United will be gunning for all three DStv Premiership points at home when we face Orlando Pirates at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Kick off is 5pm with the match televised on the Supersport PSL channel.

No fans are permitted anywhere near the precinct in line with the Covid-19 strict regulations.

The team has been playing back to back to fixtures that will see them playing their third match in eight days.

Midfielder Kurt Lentjies said:  "Obviously, it has been tough having played Cape Town in the Cup and then the league. Also traveling back from East London. I believe we have the depth to rotate our squad and also the ability to put on a good showing against Pirates.

"No PSL game is easy. Three points for us is very important. We are halfway through the season, so every game becomes like a cup final as we look at picking up points."

The team will also have Sizwe Mdlinzo and Isaac Nhlapho available for selection after serving their respective suspensions.

The team will next face AmaZulu at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in the league next Wednesday before they play Richard's Bay FC in the Nedbank Cup on the weekend.
