Midfielder, Sandile Zuke has told chippautdfc.co.za is exultant to be back at the club after leaving the Port Elizabeth-based side at the end of last season as a free agent.
The midfielder re-joined the Chilli Boys early November on a short term deal until the end of the season.
Zuke has played 22 games for Chippa United in all competitions.
“This is a club that I’ve played for before, so it’s like coming home, and I am very excited to be part of this family again,” said Zuke speaking to chippautdfc.co.za.
Sandile has played in the last two games in which the Chilli boys lost, against Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates respectively. The midfielder insisted that they need to work hard, and go back to their winning ways.
“We just need to push and continue playing our away, something will come up, we just need to continue working hard.
“Through dedication, hard work and determination you always get something positive. I guess that is what we need to show on the field of play, and take our chances in front of the goals.
“I would like to thank the fans for the support they have given the club during these difficult times. My plea to them is, ‘ be patient with us, we are a work in progress, soon the results that you are expecting will come,” the hard working midfielder concluded.
The Chilli Boys will take on Maritzburg United away on Tuesday night 29 November. Kickoff is at 19h30.
